PLEASE HELP.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

250Sin(48)= 185.7862

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.mathsisfun.com/sine-cosine-tangent.html will explain why I use Sin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I write it out like this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just use cos (48)=250/X

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where x is the unknown length we are looking for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Romero is correct. :-) Thanks for helping out, mate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is a trick SIN COS TAN SOH CAH TOA where O=opposite where A=Adjacent where H=Hypotnus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cos is not a possible answer. :O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve for X, you don't need cosine in the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the answer choices @computergeek123 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you could also write the problem as tan 48=x/250 and solve that way, which would give you on of those answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All of them have done it correctly . Basically, make sure you are familiar with trigonometry, this will be a cake walk for you then :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would A be the best answer to choose?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would pick 250sec48 = 250/cos48, as Romero did up there.
