A company sells cardboard that is 9 1/8mm thick. Write an equation to solve for the number of sheets of cardboard, c, in a pile that is 255 1/2mm thick. What must be done to both sides to solve the equation?

OpenStudy (pfenn1):

In order to find the number of sheets, c, in a pile that is 255 1/2 mm thick you have to multiply the number of sheets by the thickness of an individual sheet and set equal to the entire thickness.

i need more help plz

OpenStudy (pfenn1):

no of sheets X thickness of a sheet = total thickness of all sheets. (9 1/8) c=255 1/2 solve for c do you know how to do that?
