OpenStudy (tcp2315):

can somebody help me out with part d of this? IB exams tomorrow haha http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/716/picture4ai.png/

OpenStudy (turingtest):

for the first one you need a vector that is parallel to the line \(L_1\) can you think of one?

OpenStudy (tcp2315):

yeah the answer to a) is r= (8, 1, 0) + t(0,0,1) those should be vertical but i dont want to draw them

OpenStudy (turingtest):

ok, so you understand a) ?

OpenStudy (tcp2315):

yeah, and b and c in fact...

OpenStudy (tcp2315):

a) r = (8, 1, 0) + t (0, 0, 1) b) you dont need this for question D, but just setting the respective x, y, and z, coordinates lets s=2 which proves it. c) i) showing it isnt useful for D ii) AB = (2, -1, 5)

OpenStudy (turingtest):

yeah D is a bit tougher... I'll have to think about that one.

OpenStudy (tcp2315):

i have the answer if you want it, but i cant justify it and i got it from the answer key. D= C+AB, or (4, -2, 9)
