In △RST, what is the length of RT? a. 26sqrt3 b. 52 c. 13 d. 26sqrt2

OpenStudy (sarahc):

Directrix (directrix):

RT is 26 times sqrt(2). Use the 45-45-90 theorem which states that the hypotenuse of an isosceles right triangle is square root of 2 times a leg length. Or, use the Pythagorean Theorem. 24^2 + 26^2 = h^2 and solve for h.

OpenStudy (sarahc):

Thank you so much!!!!

Directrix (directrix):

@sarahc --> Recommend that you learn the 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 theorems to save time. :)
