Hey I haven't seen mods on the site that much. I would love to help openstudy so just message me if you think you would like to add me.
Translated: "I can has banhammer?"
You know we are in purple now right?
Becoming a mod isn't so easy, you should have a somewhat long relationship with OS and as far as I know you have to be online practically all the time.
Mods are in purple, presently !
I don't think they're going for it @applerocks lol
yeah I know but they aren't that active
What do you mean we aren't active?
I see them in them why you show the levels but nt in chats and questions you guys are fixing bugs and other things so I thought you guys would need some help
not*
yes @myininaya
got to eat dinner 15 min
@myininaya what are you typing?
Ok well some of us don't even work for OS. I don't fix bugs. I hate bugs. They are gross. So there are admins and there are us global moderators (people who don't work for OS). @cshalvey is the community manager. He manages the community and he is pretty active in doing that since it is one of his jobs. (lol-you knew that). So anyways global moderators like myself, amistre64, anaseer, jagtuba, trancenova, foolformath, turingtest, blues, jamesj, and zarkon help moderate the site. Well other admins besides cshalvey have also been active in moderating the site. But anyways if OpenStudy is interested in collecting more moderators for their moderator display stand, then they will usually approach you. It will help that you show you are a great community member and I think a long time length of being here on OS would help also. You have to be liked by biggest part of the community I believe. I think I got this right.
myininaya's response is absolutely correct. I would just add that if you wish to become a mod, don't ask to become a mod.
oh ok thanks @myininaya and @farmdawgnation
