The perimeter of a rectangle is 10 cm, and its dimensions are tripled. What is the perimeter of the larger rectangle? 12 cm 20 cm 30 cm 10 cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tripple so I would just assume that the perimeter is three times the original.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30 then :)

The perimeter is a linear value (one dimension), so when we triple the size of the object, the perimeter triples as well.
