Basically i am a Business Student but want to join, study & get a degree of this course, is there anybody who just give me some short details, i.e. course fee, duration, & can i get the MIT degree after the completion of course???
I take it that you are talking about the MITx course, rather than the OpenCourseWare version of it? There is no charge for either - the OpenCourseWare is just recorded lectures and links to old problem sets and assignments, whereas the MITx version of 6.002 is more like a traditional course: there are weekly lecture videos, assignments which must be submitted by a certain date and a grade and certificate you get at the end. There is no fee for either course. The MITx course lasts for fourteen weeks, though it started in March and is currently on week 9. Having missed 2/3 of the class as well as the midterm it would be impossible to jump in now and still hope to pass it. The course is NOT for academic credit - what you get is a certificate of completion, which is trivial, and a thorough understanding of circuits and electronics, which is more meaningful. There is no way you can put it toward a degree, unless you can find some other institution which will give you academic credit for the certificate. Some schools may chose to do this. I suggest you check out www.mitx.mit.edu for more details.
