How do you graph: 'y=x and x<0' ? Plz xplain. I dont get it.

A first step might be to make a table of values of y for values of x \[y(x)=x\] \[\begin{matrix}{} x &|& 1 &2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 \\ \hline y(x)&|& 1 &2& 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 \end{matrix}\] Now just plot these points on the Cartesian plane
