changing to polar coordinates (5,-12) i get 13 , -1.1760 my closest option is 13, 292.62 does the -1.1760 convert somehow to 292.62???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got theta as -67 deegres, that should be close to -1.2 radians. Hmm.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you get 292.62? :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's the -arctan(12/5).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i got the 1.1760 wel what u got my option on my work is 13, 292

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is in deegres, I suspect. So, it's more or less correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah im going with it anyways thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1336019189466:dw|theta here is in radians, alpha is deegres. They are more or less on the same arc. I got 292.61, but that's precision :-)
