Polygamma. Dirac Delta. What are all these strange functions, and why aren't they in my calc book? Are they in a differential equation book?

It's not in most calc books because it needs quite a bit of analysis (I think).

And gamma function? I'm really curious about the gamma function and the error function in general.

The gamma function requires complex analysis, which is a class I'm taking next semester. So I can't really tell you very much about it at the moment.

Basically. Although you should be curious about other things that are easier. Such as the fundamental theorem of arithmetic.
