How to solve the following...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[T-34=e ^{-0.1t}+C\] What would be my next step?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if T=4 and t=0.... would my next step be... \[-30=Ae ^{-0.1(0)}\] If this is correct... How would I solve for A.... because Ax0=0 ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From what I can see, A will become equal to -30 because e raised to the power zero (-0.1 times 0) will be 1. I could very well be wrong. Why did you ignore 'C' in your reply? :O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it is not relevant. I have just realised my mistake, so thanks for your help! For some reason I had thought that x^0 is 0...but its actually 1. (I must be tired!) Thank you so much!! :)
