DNA = One whole piece of chromosome. Do you mean how many Chromosomes are there in a DNA Strand?

My dear friend! There are two chromatids in a chromosome , each containing one DNA.

But, at the time of anaphase stage of mitosis cell division two chromatids get separated and resultant chromosomes contain only one DNA each. After a cell division, during S-phase of the next cell division, when the DNA replication occurs then, duplicate DNA is created and two chromatids again come into existence.So, the chromosome again contains two DNAs. This cycle continues.
