: i know its biology.but i need help! how many dna are there in a chromosome??and yeah is a chromosome made of two chomatids or is it just a …

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Twice as much as chromosome is the good because 1 chromosome = 1double helix= 2 DNA molecules bonded by Hydrogene bonds.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

genes reside at specific location on chromosome. SO; essentially each chromosome contanis a collection of genes.. (of course each gene has different number of molecules... so, each chromome has a different molecular weight). So, yes, we have 46 chromosomes... but we have a SIGNIFICANTLY greater number of molecules that chromosomes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 Chromosome has two Chromatids, joined together by the centromere. 1 Chromosome pair has four Chromatids. "a single strand of chromosome" does not exist. A chromosome is composed of two strands of chromatid. hope you got it right khanita. nd now its a request..please dont post biology questions in chemistry .
