A certain type of heart-muscle disease thickens the heart muscle so that the heart chambers shrink in size. How would this disease affect a person over time, as the volume of the heart chambers continues to shrink?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

math question?? :D wow! hmm... use differentiation?? :) I know how to do it, but not sure it's right or not... hahahaha..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u have the volume equation for hearth chambers? (if not given, then I have no idea how to proceed..)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If this isn't meant to be a math question, then the heart would have to pump faster and harder over time to continue giving out the right amount of blood, and if not, then i agree with titusp01, use differentiation. lol i couldnt help you with the math without the full problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you do have the volume equation if the heart chambers i would think that it would be the equation minus an exponent. With the full problem, i could explain it better.
