how would you use graphing technology to find the solutions of 0 = -x^2 + 2.5x + 1. What do the solutions of 0 = -x^2 + 2.5x + 1 represent on the graph of the equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am confused on this one :l

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is no reason to use graphing techniques to solve this linear equation. Solve this linear equation by rearranging for the variable. 0 = -2x + 2.5x + 1 0 = 0.5x + 1 -1 = 0.5x x = -2 hope this helps!

I know but I legitly have to answer using it which is so dumb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me answer dis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i already did...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would i use graphing technologies to find the solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would use graphing technology to find where the function 0 = -2x + 2.5x + 1 intersects the x-axis. The solutions of 0 = -2x + 2.5x + 1 represent the x-intercepts of the graph.
