ok

There is no reason to use graphing techniques to solve this linear equation. Solve this linear equation by rearranging for the variable.
0 = -2x + 2.5x + 1
0 = 0.5x + 1
-1 = 0.5x
x = -2
hope this helps!

How would i use graphing technologies to find the solution?

I would use graphing technology to find where the function 0 = -2x + 2.5x + 1 intersects the x-axis. The solutions of 0 = -2x + 2.5x + 1 represent the x-intercepts of the graph.
