Tex killed my firefox today. Well, MathJax. Basically, when I was writing my guide (http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4fa231ede4b029e9dc332a4f), I made an especially long all-text comment right after a bunch of Texing, and I just lagged for about 20 seconds repeatedly, having 2 seconds inbetween with no lag, and then 20, until I raged and went on crhome. I later identified the problem as MathJax because I switched to firefox 3.6, and encountered the same problem, but it notified me of the unresponsive script. When I stopped it, the lag stopped, until it go reenabled?
I think i"m using firefox 11.
Also, my computer is not laggy itself (intel core i7 first gen, nvidia gtx 460m, etc. etc.)
I have another Tex script enabled, which is http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/92758 This might be the actual problem, but I'm not sure if it's even enabled.
ANy ideas as to what my problem is?
Bump up to Firefox 12, as that is the latest version. See if the issue still occurs. I'm going to do the same on my end. Might be time to bust out the profiler again...
Loaded smooth as butter for me in FF 12 @inkvoyd. Please test in FF12. If you still see the issue occur, try disabling all of your extensions, restarting the browser, and trying again.
Heh. And a mention fail for the farmdawg.
