10 divided by 2/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal. So, \(10\div 2/5\) is the same is \(10\times5/2\)

OpenStudy (lalaly):

\[\large{\frac{10}{\frac{2}{5}}}=10 \times \frac{5}{2}=\frac{50}{2}=25\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{10}{1} \div \frac{2}{5}\] AS @nbouscal said, dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal. So, that would make the equation \[\frac{10}{1} \times \frac{5}{2}\] And you can solve that! :D
