I'm curious. In solving 2x^2=30^2 would I divide both sides by 2 and then square root both to find x?

You can do it in either order. Divide by 2 first, then square root, or square root first, then divide. Either way, don't forget the \(\pm\)

Thanks, I just wasn't sure.
