which point lies in the solution set for the following system of inequalities? x-y>3 x+2y<6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help me with this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have a number of points to choose from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3,4) (4,-2) (-2,2) (7,1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The easiest way to do this is to just try all those points and see if the inequalities hold. So the first point is not a solution because 3-4=-1 is not greater than 3. Can you do the same for the other points?
