Using the 5 steps of problem solving, Angle A and Angle B are complimentary angles. If angle a is 6 more than 3x angle B. What are the measurements of the angles?

I have already answered this for you here: http://openstudy.com/study?login#/updates/4fa2e941e4b029e9dc33bff5 do you need more explanation on this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I dont quite understand, I am new to algebra.

fair enough - but rather than closing the question and then re-posting it (which is considered spamming), it would be better to just ask for clarification in the original question. anyway, to recap, I said in the previous post of this question: I don't know what you mean by "the 5 steps of problem solving", but I would approach this as follows: 1. Write an expression to represent the fact that A and B are complimentary 2. Write an expression to represent the fact that A is 6 more than 3x B 3. Substitute expression for A from step 2 into expression in step 1 4. Solve this to find B 5. Use this value of B in expression for step 1 to find A now which step are you stuck at?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks anyway, I just dont know how to do it, Illl skip it for now.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

There's no problem at all in me explaining it to you - but I need some guidance on which parts you are stuck on so that I can help

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

for example - do you know what it means when two angles are complimentary?
