Use quadratic formula to solve x^2=3-4x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hot do I set the question to zero?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*How

OpenStudy (zepp):

Sent x^2 to the right side and you'll have a 0! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be 3-4x-x^2=0?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Add 4x to both sides and subtract 3 from both sides. It's more convenient to have a positive coefficient for the x^2 term.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

x^2+4x-3=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay. Then you plug it into the quadratic formula?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

yep
