if x is the length of a side of the pasture, then the area is length times width$$A=x \times x=x ^{2}$$ and the perimeter or outside edge of the pasture is given by$$P=2x+2x=4x$$

i was actually wondering how to do that. im not sure what the side lengths are. I divided 4 into 625 but it came out to be a decimal.
