Use the data to make da box and wisker plot. Student heights (in) are: 60,66,59,67,68,63,62,61,69,64,61. Refer to ur box and whisker plot to answer the following questions. 1. What is the median height? 2. Between whgat heights do 50% of the students fall?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im wondering, if we subtract the smallest value from the rest of them if the results are the same ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it would make the numbers less scary; and moving the box itself while keeping its same dimensions shouldnt effect the outcome if im thinking about it correctly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the median you can find by putting them in order least to greatest and the middle number is the median

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the last part I'm assuming they want the average

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so add them all together and divide them by the amount of terms (11).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add me??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yea when finding the median make sure that if theres two of the same terms like 61, and 61 instead of putting 2 61s just put 1 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

two or more of the same terms :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got both correct thanks to you
