What are the units for PV=nRT ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

P : pressure in pascals (Pa) V : volume in cubic metres (m³) n : amount of substance in moles (mol) T : temperature en kelvins (K) R : ideal gas constant in joules per kelvin-mole (\(J\ K^{-1}\ mol^{-1}\)) These are the set of coherent SI units. You can choose other units for P, V, n and T; the value of R will vary accordingly. See the tables of all values of R on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_constant
