What is cloud based storage?
it's a term used for when you store information (documents, photos, video…whatever) in a remote location, on some company's servers such as DropBox or SugarSync for example. You can use it in case your computer crashes and you lose your data, so that it's always stored some place else and you can just re-download your stuff. It's good for transferring files from device to device (easily get files off your laptop and onto your phone). You generally use your email address to log in on whatever device you're currently using. The two I mentioned are free. SugarSync gives you like 5 GB of free data storage so if you want to store excessive vids and games you'll probably have to actually pay money (per month)
