Which ratio represents the area of the smaller rectangle compared to the area of the larger rectangle? (Figure not drawn to scale)

A rectangle with the dimensions x by x plus three is inside a larger rectangle with the dimensions three x by x squared plus seven x plus twelve.

I think the answer for the first on is D and for the second one C? Are those right?
