2b+5<−1⟹2b<−6⟹b<−3 b-4>-4 ⟹ b>0 So Option C
What you have to do first is to isolate b: \(2b+5 < -1\) It would be \(\large b< \frac{-1-5}{2}\) \(b<-3\) Do the same with the second one \(b > -4+4\) \(b>0\) \(b<-3\) or \(b>0\)
