Solve the following system of equations. 2x + 3y – z = 1 3x + y + 2z = 12 x + 2y – 3z = –5 a.(3, 1, 2) b.(–3, 1, 2) c.(3, –1, 2) d.(3, 1, –2)

OpenStudy (espex):

So how have you attempted to start this problem and what is giving you difficulty??

OpenStudy (pfenn1):

You can always "brute force" it by plugging the possible solutions into the equations and seeing which one works.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welll for this you can solve for z and plug that in x or y to get the answer..

OpenStudy (espex):

You could also use elimination and matrix multiplication.
