ANyone know how to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is cosec^2(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll explain just now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it tan^2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you've got (1+tan^2x)(cosec^2-1), rite, now change tan^2x to sin^2x/cos^2x ans cosec^2x is a reciprocal identity of sin so it will be 1/sin^2x

OpenStudy (4n1m0s1ty):

Use csc^2 (x) - 1 = cot^2(x) Original Expression--> (tan^2(x) + 1)(cot^2(x)) --> 1 + cot^2(x) Use cot^2(x) + 1 = csc^2(x) --> Final Answer = csc^2(x)

thanks both!!
