The perimeter of a parallelogram is 48 in. If the sides are cut in half, then the perimeter of the smaller parallelogram is 24

Parth (parthkohli):

It would be 12! It becomes one fourth if all the sides are cut in half. You can imagine it in your head, or may I draw it for you? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah i get what your saying thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still think its 24 =/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

Parth (parthkohli):

No, see. If the sides are 6 and 3, for example, then the perimeter = 12 + 6 = 18 Now, 3 and 1.5 : Perimeter = 9 You were right! :P Sorry
