A rectangular prism is truncated removing 10% of its height. The original height of the prism was 100 meters and it has a length of 4 meters and a width of 20 meters. What is the volume of the truncated prism? Answer 3,800 m^3 7,200 m^3 800 m^3 4,200 m^3 I say the answer is C.

OpenStudy (espex):

Your original height was 100, you lost 10% of that. 10%/100% = 0.1, 0.1* 100 = 10 Then you lost 10 meters from your original height. The volume of a rectangular prism is length*width*height:\[(100-10)*4*20=V\]
