Hey I need help with this question!! I have to find the exclusion of 4x^2-1/4x+2

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What number would cause the denominator to be 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what I am trying to figure out....im really confused

OpenStudy (mertsj):

4x+2=0 Solve it and see what number causes the denominator to be 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2/4

OpenStudy (mertsj):

That would be -1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes reduced

OpenStudy (mertsj):

That is the excluded value because if you replace x with that number the denominator is 0 and that is undefined.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that all you have to do...because if soo.... i feel really stupid

OpenStudy (mertsj):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woow...Thank you and I hope you have a blessed day

OpenStudy (mertsj):

yw and you too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (mertsj):
