Pure copper metal has a very high conductivity. Brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, has a much lower conductivity. Why are the conductivities different?

of course we cant expect similar prooperties between alloys always(there are many such 'anomalies')..it's got to do with how the structure is formed by the merging of two crytal lattices of diff kind of metals..
