my teacher put an example on board of mercury's orbit of .436 now we need to get circumference of orbit. She put c=2(3.14)r then she put c=2(3.24).436. Shouldn't it be c=2(3.14).436

yes simple typo. should be 3.14 as the circumference equation is \[2pir\]

that's assuming the orbit is circular... but in the case 3.24 appears to be an error
