Is C a point on the circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am assuming it is... There is a theorem that states that the arc of an inscribed angle(one that has its vertex on the circle, point C) is 2 times its measure. So therefore arc AB would be...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeaah its inscribed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

read above..your formula is correct but you have miscalculated the arc measure of AB.

228 thx

Directrix (directrix):

Angle C is an inscribed angle of the circle. The measure of an inscribed angle is half its intercepted arc. So, the measure of arc AB = 114 which is twice 57. Arc BC has measure 114. Arc AC + Arc AB + Arc BC = 360 Arc AC + 114 + 114= 360 Arc AC = 132

Directrix is correct

ohh yeah he is thank u
