Q: Energy released from cellular respiration is resulted due to the conversion of: A: ADP to ATP B: ATP to ADP C: FAD to FADH2 D: NAD+ to NADH

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B)ATP to ADP as when ATP break energy releases..

OpenStudy (blues):

In ATP, the bond between the third phosphate group and the rest of the molecule is a very high energy one. The phosphate groups are bulky so it is difficult to fit that third one on near to the second, and the negative charges on the oxygen repel each other which makes it even harder. When that bond breaks to form ADP and Pi, all that energy is released. Reasons are more helpful than answers.

OpenStudy (prakharluv):

the correct ans is B.... and the correct explaination is given by both heena nd blues
