Please help with a vector question. I need to find the resultant of adding: A = 240N at bearing of 101degrees B = 367N at bearing of 30 degrees

Split the forces to it's x and y forces by drawing a triangle and using sin and cos and tan After splitting each force you can add all the x forces and all the y forces. Then make a triangle with the resulting x and y force and use pythagurus to find the resulting force. You still need the final angle. Again use cos sin and tan to get that angle because you will know the final X and final Y forces that make up that triangle.

Many thanks Romero for putting me on the right path :)
