The region R is bounded by the curve y=1/(4x-2x^2-1)and the line y=2. Find the volume of the solid of revolution when R is rotated completely about the axis.

use disc method ... to calculate the volume of inner hollow solid .. and subtract it from big cylinder

Thanks but your method is for the volume about the x axis? If i'm supposed to rotate R about y axis how do i go about doing it?
