Without knowing square footage is it possible to caluculate what percent of the entire building a space which is 45% of 1/4 of the building is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

first - do you know what a 1/4 of the building represents in terms of "percentage of the building"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, it is 25% of the building. So the space is 45% of 25% of entire building. So I'm tryng to determine what percentage that is of 100%.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

yes - you're on the right track. 1/4 of the building is 25% of the entire building. therefore 45% of a 1/4 of the building is (45% of 25%) of the entire building. i.e. you just need to calculate what 45% of 25% is.

Thanks Asnaseer!
