so 3 kinds of face cards - 4 suits so 12 total possible face cards for odds of first card being face card of 12/52...23% If we know second card is 8...if we drew the 8 first that didn't change the number of face cards just the pool of cards we are pulling from...12/51 if the second card had been a face card 11/51 If you don't look at the first card before you look at the second card the odds that the card is a face card is 12/51...
