Ok so I have this problem: Given: Line L is tangent to a circle at point A. Point B is on Line L. The center of the circle is point D. DA = AB= 2. Find: The area of the region of triangle ABD that lies outside the circle. If anything please tell how I would go about solving this.

So I know that the area of Circle D is pi4 or 12.5664

I can't calculate anything until I draw the diagram. So, that's what I'm trying to do. Were you given a diagram for the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, but I can make one.
