how do you convert 41 in^2 to cm^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 in = 2.54 cm. the "unit^2" is just a unit. So just convert.

need more help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's wrong, isn't it? We need to square the unit, that is, 41 in^2 is approx 264 cm^2. Well, if @fero4u123 meant that, that wasn't clear to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What I mean is this: 1in = 2.54 -> 1 in^2 = (2.54)^2 cm^2. So we need to multiply (2.54)^2 * 41. To convert.

yes. thats what i mean. That is a more thorough explanation. Lol I answered quickly while trying to work on another problem of my own. I'll give u medal :-)
