Don't think so, don't even understand the question....

OpenStudy (thomas5267):

I believe the question shares similarity to this one. The dimension of the whiteboard is 2m x 0.5m x 3 cm. A square is drawn on it with a size of 10 cm x 10 cm. What is the color of the square? OK, back to the topic. How is the red light related to the meteor?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry typed it up wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it should be fixed now

OpenStudy (thomas5267):

I am not familiar with probabilities, but I think we need the size of Hartford and the meteor in order to calculate the probability of getting hit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Think it's just the square and circle aspects, treat meteorite as point particle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just divide the areas

OpenStudy (thomas5267):

What it your answer @estudier Mine is around 0.04.
