i need to find one more point from this problem -3y=-x-7. i have tried changing the x to a lot of things 0,1,-1,2,-2,3,-3 and none of them will give me a line corresponding with the points (2,1) (3,-2)

OpenStudy (radar):

Just assign an arbitrary value to x and solve for y, 0 and 1 are good choices.

Directrix (directrix):

These points "with the points (2,1) (3,-2)" are not on the line with equation: -3y=-x-7. Did you calculate them or were they given?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did it i'm not very good at it this stuff

OpenStudy (radar):

I am going to see if those points give the equation you has gave us. m (slope) =-3/-1=3 right away it is obvious that it does not agree with 1/3 you have in your equation.
