a). 11 tan(S) = x b). You are given that the measure of ∠S is 49°, so x = 11 tan(49°) = 12.7 inches to the nearest tenth c). The mast is 2 inches taller than the side of the sail computed in part (b), so the height of the mast is 14.7 inches i went to connections too.
