66.00 m = ? km

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

1000m = 1km

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.066km

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

are you going from a larger to smaller unit? or a smaller to larger unit?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

I believe if he just wanted the answer he could type it into google retriceokim not to knit pick

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation is just 66.00 m = ______Km

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.066km like i said before

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Knowing 1km = 1000m and conversely 0.001km = 1m you can set up a ratio like so 66.0m/1000m = xkm/1km 66.0m(1km)/1000m = xkm m cancel out and you are left with km or conversely you can realize you are going from a smaller unit to a larger one so you just divide by 1000 if you were going the other way from larger to smaller units you would multiply by 1000

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

@retriceokim anyone can google the answer to this question, the purpose of this website is not just to state the answer but show show how to get the correct answer

OpenStudy (australopithecus):
