What are the main differences between Java and HTML?
html is a markup language for documents where as java is a cross-platform programming language.
html uses in website rather than java is programming language that we use in games, business and the software inside our computer is created from java
they are both client side web languages as opposed to server side "languages/middle ware" such as PHP, PERL. Adobe Server Side Action Script
well , simply, HTML is an output that now you are seeing in every webpages like the page that we are chatting. Actually, HTML was the first method that scientific could use to share their document (static data) over the big network(Internet). only simple command which is called tags would be used. In advanced, if you want to communicate with database or something you need to use Java, PHP, ASP.Net and etc ...
In another word, HTML is using static website and JAVA,PHP,ASP.NET are using for Dynamic website
While Java can be embedded in a webpage, as a jar or applet, it is not strictly for websites, javascript is the closest "java" will get to "html". Java is an object oriented programming language that is designed to run on any platform, it is an equivalent to C++, Ruby, Python, etc.. HTML is more a kin to APA format, or the formatting codes that Word uses in documents, than it is to Java, as it is used to create a layout for web documents that the server interprets to produce a particular look and feel. To say that Java and HTML are anything alike would be to compare a bicycle to an airplane, yes they both have wheels and move, but they are certainly not in the same class.
