i cant figure this one out Simplify (8m5)^3/(2m3)^3 i get 64m^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait am i not working my exponents right? do i multiply them not add them?

OpenStudy (callisto):

\[\frac{(8m^5)^3}{(2m^3)^3} = (\frac{8}{2})^3m^{(5\times 3)-(3 \times 3)} = 64m^{ 15-9} =? \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 64m^6

OpenStudy (callisto):

I think so :|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i double checked it, it should be correct, thank you
