What do you think about our website that teaches javascript? http://codeavengers.com Only been out for 1 month. All feedback welcome.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice website, fun and interactive for learning...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! Very much appreciated.

OpenStudy (rsmith6559):

The review quiz is too animated for my taste.

OpenStudy (espex):

It is a very nice start but I agree with @rsmith6559, the animation on the review is a bit much. I would like to see a little more explanation to go with the exercises and a help file to look-up some of the functions or examples would be a welcome addition. Overall though, a very nice effort.

you need a repitition game because one very effective way to get imformation out of the short term memory and into the long term memory is to create a strong emotional reaction to the information. I also think your animation that is "too much" is a great way to create a strong emotional reaction to information :)

BTW for above posts clarity's sake repitiiton is a great way to create a strong emotional reaction. I'd use a light long stick such as a yard stick to create a strong emotional reaction but thats illigal in this country and in some places would cause retaliation and I would have a survival problem :) :) :)
