Solve the equation using square roots. x^2-9=0 this is what i came up with am i right no real number solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where's the equation..........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd start by isolating \[x ^{2}\] on one side. What does that step give you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did x^2 is 3*3 which equals 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good -- 3 is one value that x could be. But there's a second value as well...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so it would be -3,3

OpenStudy (anonymous):
